As you can tell from my URL, my name is Emily. I'm a newly twenty-one year old from western Massachusetts. I'm an early childhood education and Spanish double major. I take edcuation very seriously and have had a passion for learning since a very young age. I work at a doctor's office by day and a beauty supply store by night. I also babysit and tutor a lot- as you can tell, I like staying very busy! Sometimes this blog won't get updated as much as I'd like it to simply because of my hectic schedule.
I discovered my love of nail polish during the summer of 2011. I discovered a store at the mall that sold OPI (where I find myself working now, ironically enough!) and I began googling colors I'd like to buy. That's when I stumbled upon nail blogs. After purchasing a lot of different Essies and OPIs, I decided I want to share my swatches with the world! That's when I created embellished nails, which was originally titled "Perfectly Manicured" (I suck at coming up with names). 400 bottles of polish later and I'm still here, experimenting with stamping, indie brands, and even some free hand nail art.
Besides working, I also really enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. I love music and going to concerts, especially country. I plan on one day living in the south because I strongly believe I belong down there! I have a great group of friends, family and an amazing boyfriend who I also spend a lot of my time with.
I hope to one day get my manicuring license so I can expand my love of all things nails.
